Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness is a newly launched Hollywood Marvel movie. This is the prequel to the 2016 film Dr. Strange. Fans of Marvel and Dr. Strange expected many things from this film as there are many rumors spread on the internet before the release of the film. I have done a review of this film. The title of the film includes “Multiverse of Madness” which fans meant that there would be many many multiverses in the film which is not true. There are only 2 other multiverses which we got to know about in detail in this film.
The first one was where Dr. Strange and America got teleported while fighting Scarlet and they met Illuminatis. The second one is after the first one Dr. Strange and her GF got teleported into a universe where the universe is going to end and there he found the dark hold. These are the two only universes that we got to see in the film.
There are many expectations from fans that this film didn’t meet. I am also a good fan of Dr. Strange and I didn’t get what I expected while watching the film trailer. I never thought that they will show scarlet with this much power. Just literally Dr. Strange can’t stand in front of her for 5 minutes. I never imagine that a variant of Captain Marvel who was considered more powerful than Scarlet dies without fighting for 10 to 15 minutes only. Fantastic 4 who is a genius of the genius dies within a minute. This is just another side of the film which I didn’t like but there are other expectations that this film didn’t meet.
Expectations from Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness
There are reports coming that Tom Cruise, who was previously selected to play the role of Iron Man before RDJ in Marvel will appear as a variant in another universe in this film. And I thought It can be true because this trick made Spider-man: No Way Home a Blockbuster film. But, they didn’t do it instead they killed all the superheroes and heroines which they showed us in another universe as variants.
I never thought that the main villain of this film can be Wanda aka Scarlet. I literally thought that they will work and fight with the main villain who will be from any other universe but that is totally wrong. These are the things which I as a fan of marvel didn’t get from the film which I expected but there is no problem Marvel is great I know and there is an upcoming film Thor: Love & Thunder which I am waiting for will meet my 100% expectations I know because the director of that film is wonderful.
